Well, I should update on how my interview went today. I did "okay" I have to call to schedule a third interview, but basically, I would be completely on trial for the first three months. I have to pass three exams that I have to shell out for (just under 350$) and then I am reimbursed once I have made it past the first three months of training and marketing. I would have to find all my own clients, and have to make a certain amount for the company. Everything is commission based, and while there would be no cap on the salary, I just don't know if I'm that materialistically driven... or if I want to be... and if I don't make the required amount in the first three months, as the guy who interviewed me said, "That's ok, but you couldn't work here anymore."
So.... yeah....
For the rest of my afternoon, I'm going to smoke a bowl and write. I didn't even ask if they drug tested. Oh well...
that's total bullshit. what company is that for?
I think I've mentioned this before, but there are ways to combine one's passion with decent paying jobs.
E.g. an artist might get a job with Imagination, EA, etc. A musician might work in technical, sound recording, something to do with business or marketing. Or music therapy, or something like.
Or, you can work at a decent paying job you enjoy but do your passion as a hobby on weekends. There are lots of community orchestras and choral groups. Try something like meetup.com.
Or work until your primary artistic passion becomes profitable.
You're right, I do. Isn't walmart one of like the four corporate companies that is keeping the economy barely afloat?Quote:

Barnes and noble is another one. So buy books at non-corporate places so we don't take a nose dive.
It's for an insurance- marketing company. Sorry, I don't know how to quote more than one thing at a time!Quote:

But yeah, I kind of thought it was bullshit too. The first interview was a group interview, and one guy walked out before it started saying, "Sorry, I thought this was a real interview."
