you guys are funny :)
I actually really like Valentine's Day. It's a nice day. Nobody is going to be with someone every Feb 14 - some years you'll be single, other years you'll have someone to share it with. It's to be expected.

I'm not trying to be anti-social. In fact, once you get to know me, I'm okay to hang around with ;)
But I just don't see the point of Valentines Day. Or any "special" (holi)day for that matter. Never did.
For that reason it could have sounded a bit harsh. I tend to speak my mind :P
Best thing to do on a solo V-Day is show some love to yourself.
A nice relaxing massage and a container of Ben & Jerry's sounds like a good start.
Curling tournaments are another great way to spend V-Day
I actually hate massages. And while I like icecream, I don't consider it a reward or something.Quote:

Touche. :)
Lastwish,
Don't be so upset about the holiday. And don't concentrate on pitying yourself- it'll make everything even worse, believe me. I also feel somewhat uneasy on St Valentine's Day. My friend and me (we are both out of relashioship) settled a funny tradition of celebrating Anti-Valentine's Day :) We go out to some cosy cafe or bar and just have some drinks and relax. Maybe you too should try something like that - you won't feel lonely then and you'll have a company plus you won't have time to think about your unhappyness.;)
