I really don't drink that often though...I've only go out drinking like maybe once every 3 weeks or so...I mean I'll have a beer or glass of wine at dinner or something but I mean I only go out with the sole purpose of drinking maybe every three weeks to once a month...and thats the only time I get those feelings.

Like I said I never get a headache or throw up and my stomach settles after I eat...but the soreness really sucks and Tylenol doesn't seem to help.

The best thing you can do is start the night before the hangover, when you're ready to stumble into bed take some time to make a piece of toast and eat it dry. Rye was always my favorite. Really helps.

If it's too late for that, you can get some Chinese curing pills. I think you can get them at Whole Foods. Sometimes the word "curing" is misspelled on the box, but that's okay- the stuff inside is what matters. They come in a red box about the size of a deck of cards and in the box are little plastic vials full of tiny brown pills. Swallow a vial full with some warm water.

An induced gag whether there is a feeling to vomit or not (satisfy those muscles and they tend not to make an unexpected scene later), small amount of greasy food, an electrolyte drink and a small bottle of mineral water with a Berocca..

The whole "drink water before you go to bed" never works for me.

I've been drinking too much as it is. Add water and the pressure alone is enough to cause an eruption scene, which pops the eyes out of their sockets, which then makes recovery the following day all the more painful.

Do you get sick off of just beer?

I had to give up hard alcohol, I can handle beer all night long, but liquor messes with my temperament and personality. I put my fist through my door, smashed my window and demolished my doorbell the last time I drank liquor. That was the end of it for me, beer is fine, lol.

Take a couple Advil and a Vitamin B12 complex, it seems to speed up the duration of a hangover for me, if I even get one after taking them.

Everyone has a remedy for a hangover, but the truth is you honestly just have to suffer through them for the most part. Also, any kind of alcohol with a high sugar content (flavored liquors, wine, mixed drinks, etc) seem to amplify a hangover in my experience.

this is why i love the hards, you never know what too expect. honestly though, i can drink just about anything..

but i try shy away from tequila.

Bout the same symptoms with both...my temperament doesn't change...I'm a pretty easy going guy to begin with and I stay that way...I just feel very happy and I smile a lot. I also have a tendency to be a bit "handsy" and while I'm normally somewhat of a gentleman it isn't generally safe to be a female around me after I've had a few...unless you want to make out with me or get felt up...I don't mean to...it just happens.

I became evil just once, after wodka, when some guy on a party was laughing at my bfs name ( he was a polish dork). I almost kicked his ass hehe .

Ever try those Chaser pills while drinking? I think they're made of some B vitamin (maybe the one that CBR takes?) ... If not, I drink some V8 before I sleep.

Giga, I think those Chinese pills are simply carbon ... like charcoal. You can ghetto rig some by burning toast ... so give burnt toast a try!

I love Bloody Mary's but I generally only drink one with a late breakfast/brunch....yum.

If I have more than 4 to start the night off, I end up pacing the club or bar like one of those rage infected sicklies from 28 Days.

Especially with extra tabasco or chilly pepper sauce..
