mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cherry pie.
damn now i'm craving thanksgiving dinner.
I really want to try to do a beer can in the butt turkey though. You would have made a great guinea pig. Its win win. I get to try my grilling skillz and you get to sleep.
i've done that with a chicken. you would need a big beer can to do it with a turkey i think. like one of those fosters cans.
the chicken came out delicious. it's not that hard either. do you ever watch bbq university? http://www.bbqu.net/ that show makes me drool. i have two of his books and they are great.
I have access to a lot of animal sedatives...I could just dope everybody.
I accidentally shot some in my mouth one day, about 8 minutes later I was out....they gave me the reversal which increases your blood pressure quite quickly...I had a horrible headache....I also woke up with a hard on...one of the ingredients (don't recall the name) they use in the reversal is an ingredient in Viagra...that was embarrassing...waking up with your staff around you and your pitchin a tent.
Mmm...I will have to try that soon.
I want to try this next...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm root beer float!!!
Iknowright????
I need to start hanging with pregnant women.
I had chicken wrapped in bacon with a root beer glaze for dinner Saturday. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
i just got home from the grocery store where i bought root beer, cherries, and bananas. along with all kinds of other shit.
I love cherry season. They are so stinkin expensive though. Fudge. I just had chocolate covered strawberries.
you can grow cherries pretty easily.
Minnesota's growing season is suspect. I do see cherry trees at the local greenhouses though.
i'll bet there are certain cherries that will grow well where you are. there's all kinds of different cherries. i've had delicious cherries that come off bushes. that's the kind we have to have locally cause it's so hot.
but anyway, how about that thanksgiving dinner?
lol, i believe i'll be dreaming about it tonight, provided i get some sleep.
You can go to your greenhouse and find cherry trees that will grow and survive where you live. You may not get a great harvest if the winter hits wrong but what they do is they will graft a cherry tree onto the root of a Bradford Pear tree. The root of that tree goes much deeper than many other fruit trees and the roots will go deep enough to where the tree will not freeze and die.Quote:

You can also try to do it yourself if you want the challenge. There are how to websites and books if you look around.
I planted a bunch of fruit trees a few years ago on my parents place to start and orchard and one morning I went out and they were all gone. Deer had come up and eaten them all down to a stub above the root....but what grew back was not what I planted but Bradford pear trees....I thought it was interesting at least. I don't think they are good for eating...I feed them to my buffalo. If you wanted to preserve them that would be fine but they are far to hard to chew. Buffalo eat them like they are marshmallows though.
