There is no telling them Vincenzo. You actually get people who are stoopid enough to believe that someone they have never met, loves them and wants to be with them forever and ever...spending fortunes and to fly off to meet these people who so often turn out to be FAKES!.
I don't think it's stupidity. That's a little harsh. Misplaced hope is a much better term.
I've been there and done that. Sometimes you just have to go through the learning process to become less of a hopeless romantic.
I hope the guy lives somewhere interesting at least. She can make a vacation out of it.

I've been there too and I remained 'level headed' throughout his declarations of 'I love you' and 'You are the one'. How the heck could he know I was the 'one' and without ever having met me.
It turned out, I was soooo not the 'one', lol. Like 90% of guys online, he was a bullshitter.
