This the same advice given on one of your other posts. It's time to stop analyzing all this and spend you energy on focusing on your child. You know, shit just happens. Kid or not, and time invested, it don't matter, she wanted out for whatever reason. She didn't tell you because she knows any answer she gives you, you wouldn't believe her anyways.

Sounds like she is lying because she may have been seeing this dude while you two were still together.

Also, maintaining a certain type of relationship with you because you two have a son together.

I absolutely HATE it when women lie. After a break-up, very rarely do women ever admit they are seeing someone else when they usually are. Why do ladies lie about it more so than guys?
