Man, I wish somebody have given me this advice a couple of month earlier! Wise words! Wise words!

A big reason for the split was her wanting to travel but with no job and money I think she'll realise this isn't going to be possible.

Keep in mind it will be possible when she does have money and that will most likely leave you where you are now. If she wanted to be with you she would suggest travelling together.
