No, you believe in its worth. It hasn't proven anything to you. That is the difference between faith and fact. If you want to believe in smurfs, hey, no problem. But as soon as you start telling other people about the awesomeness of smurfs and how believing in smurfs can change their life too... that's when I start to ask for cold, hard data.
If you can explain to me the physical principles of how astrology works, I'd be thrilled. But, since I know you can't (b/c there hasn't been an explanation that has been upheld by scientific principles), I have no problem saying its nothing more than entertainment. I've also come to view religion as a form of entertainment. It keeps people happy and pacified... shrug. But don't call it science and say its proven anything. "Proof" is a very specific term.
BTW, I do think that things are are belief-based can have worth--ref my comment on entertainment. There's a definite worth for that kind of thing in society.
