But no, if you really have doubts that he might still be seeing his ex's or someone else, try and find out subtlely. Ask your friends to help and look out. Don't be too nosey with him because he will start think you're annoying and will start to avoid you. If that's the case, you should back off for a while as well and hopefully, everything will be fine.

My bf's exes do the same shit, the only difference is I don't care. I know they're just jealous because they want him, and because they know I'm better than them. It's probably the same thing in your case. Just kill 'em with kindness, it'll make you look like the better person in the long run.

But I don't understand why this should hurt you....when in the history of the human race has a person ever liked the person their ex was dating anyway? It's unrealistic to expect to be friends with his ex, even if he still is.
