I did offer a possible reason - did you have any sexual experience with adults when you were younger? That's often the case with men who are into teenagers.

Btw, what you did with the 15 years old was wrong. She may have been begging for you to do it, but the truth of the matter is, she was too young to know what was good for her own sake. You should have been the adult of the situation and known that it wasn't the right thing to do. I was that girl once, so I know. To be fair, 22 isn't actually too disgustingly old to be dating a 15 years old, I'm 22 myself and I know that many people this age still have the mindset of a teenager (immature, still live with their parents, etc). It still doesn't make it right, I'm just saying that it could have been much worse.

The reason why you like younger girls is just because you do.. everyone's different. Yeah I think 14-17 may be young for you since they're not even adults yet while you are.. but they're nothing wrong with looking and not touching.
I'm somewhat on the opposite end of where you are.. I'm 18 and have always liked older guys. Not like dad aged because that's weird. But I just find guys 9 years older than me and younger so damn attractive. (when the age difference reaches 10 years is where I draw the line) So the typical young girl who likes the more strong looking and (hopefully) more mature man, yes.

Then why don't you get some therapy. If you're so obsessed and you hate yourself so much for what you want and you realize "this" then why not talk to a professional about your fetish that you want answers to so much, and that makes you self-loathe. First off.. girls used to get married at 14 at one time because they were dead by the time they were in their 30's for goodness sakes and their husbands were'nt much older so don't use that ole chesnut as an excuse for everything you've been saying is just cool and dandy. Jerry Lee Lews married his 13 year old cousin, that still doesn't make it right. It just shows you that you're not the only one in the world who is like you.

The girl above you isn't 13 so don't even go there. It's not the "older" that's the problem, it's the fact that you're an adult and you want a child sexually that's the problem.

No therapist would call the police on you either. They are sworn to never disclose what they discuss with their patients so quit making excuse for yourself. Check your health plan, half the time people are covered for at least 10 therapy sessions and they don't even know it.

In the meantime do everyone (young girls and yourself) a favor and practice getting by on women your own age until you can do it perfectly :)

I think it's a psychological thing. I also think you should get therapy if you want to get to the root of the problem (it is a problem for you, otherwise you wouldn't be asking "what's wrong with me").

How about finding out about prominent researchers and then read their books/attend lectures/get in touch with 'em? You're not going to get any straight answers on here since we're more about providing advice on a course of action or considering social acceptance/morality, which is not what you're looking for.

So yeah, apart from that there's no real reason to get strung up about it as long as you don't act on it. Kinda like having a hot cousin or something :P

No Wakeup, that's not why. Its b/c they were biologically ready to have children (and considered property). No humans made a conscious decision and said 'gee, if we marry them at 14 then we'll get ~15 years out of them'. Besides, Roman women were living easily twice that and marriage at around 15 wasn't uncommon. Caesar's daughter married at that age.

OP - are you attracted to young but 'mature' teenagers (i.e. physically developed), or are you into flat-chested girls who look more like children than women. If you are into the child look, then yes you might want to get some help. Pedophiles have a short life-span in prison, btw.

Not strictly true. If you tell a therapist that you've committed a crime, they're legally obligated to report it. If you tell them that you've got those thoughts, they have a legal obligation to keep it confidential. Important distinction.
