I suppose I'm most surprised because it's never been a problem with other partners, but, if anything, my current girlfriend gets off easier via oral and/or other play than any of them ever did! We have talked about it and are going to keep trying a range of things but she says it has happened (albeit incredibly rarely) before so there really seems no reason why we aren't getting anywhere.

She definitely knows how to get herself off too so it's not as though we are blindly searching. I have tried playing with her until the point of orgasm but as soon as we have sex she loses that feeling. It's a real puzzle to us both, because, as I said originally, when I give her orgasms orally or with my fingers she is quick to come and her orgasms are pretty wild.

I guess we'll just keep experimenting and hope things click at some point!

Every woman is shaped differently so the fact that other women reached orgasm having sex with you doesn't imply that *every* woman can... don't stress it, as long as you're both having fun I think you shouldn't worry. Keep experimenting though :-).

As long as she enjoys it some way-its great :) most women love oral and many prefer it to intercourse so try not to worrry and certainly dont feel like its your fault. It sounds like shes very satisfied and thats the important thing.

Keep trying though. Like i said already me and my bf were experimenting for at least a year before i had my first O during intercourse. It could have been longer-not sure but skmetimes still find it difficult to cum that way. I dont mind tho.

My advice is to stop approaching this as a problem or a puzzle. The more it's discussed and analysed, the harder it will become. And she may end up feeling inadequate.

Given that she has great orgasms with you during foreplay, I'd say that things HAVE clicked. Chill out and enjoy what sounds like a great sex life.

Everyone is different, but I have to say foreplay is key. Having her very stimulated before hand is a must. Changing the angle of penetration can make a difference. You might want to try Tantra sex as a different avenue.

It sounds like your girl just can't have an orgasm from penetration, which would have nothing to do what you're doing. If that is the case you just need to find the best ways to pleasure eachother.
I'd personally recommend trying a vibrating ring. You can usually buy them in drug stores next to the condoms. You wear it on your penis while you have sex and the ring will vibrate stimulating her clitoris that way she's getting that direct stimulation and hopefully will give her an orgasm.
