In my experience, any complaints from you are unlikely to make him change only get you into trouble.
Sorry, but that's the nature of the beast. If he's being unethical (i.e. abusing his position) then pursue. Otherwise, you can't change Asshole. Just let karma take its course. Pick your battles and change when and where you can.

Documentation is key in situations like this. If you keep a record of each situation as it occurs, you have more of a leg to stand on. Keep it fact based without any drama and HR will know that you are serious. It will still be your word against his; however, your story will be more buttoned up. While it might be too late in this situation, it's still a good habit to have.
