It used to be on Netflix, but they took it off :(
I watched it last night by renting it on YouTube. It cost $4 and you have it on your account for 2 full days from when you start your download. Just FYI. I am sure you can stream it as well.

Has anyone else had a chance to watch the movie yet?
My friend found me a link to watch it for free online.
So I am going to watch it the day after Christmas in my hangover state and put my review in that Sunday * hoping face*
If anyone wants the video link PM me, I won't post it on open forum tho. Excited to watch and review.
Have you written your review yet, melancholia? I think pcmaster has been watching it.
It's easy to find online, it's not that new of a film.
I haven't posted my review yet. I want people to watch it first! I love this movie so much.
I watched it and am going to be evil and spoil it for everybody.....
Darth Vader is Luke Skywalker's father!!!!!
Mwuuuuhahahahahahahahah....Wait.... I think I watched the wrong movie. I'll have to go back and watch the right one.
Darth Vader is Luke AND Leia's father! Can you believe it? And Bruce Willis has been dead the whole time!
L M A O at what TheEvilJester said -- I have access to the movie so my review will show up in the new year, topazlight, like I said in the other thread if it doesn't just remind me via PM.
Watching it some point today. Review to follow. :)
Guess other reviews will roll in next week? Has anyone sent friendsfirst a link to vote and review thread?
Leia too?! Wow! Makes what Luke and Leia did earlier really awkward... especially in that little known deleted scene.Quote:

(P.S. I am kidding. No such deleted scene exists. ....Or maybe that is just what I was instructed to tell you. ;-) )
P.P.S. Didn't get to watch The Way Way Back just yet, but I will soon.
I was hoping to read some other movie reviews. I think first review might have been to close to Christmas. Anyone read topaz's or my review yet? Thoughts?
Mine will be in before the deadline :) -- haven't read any of the reviews posted so far because haven't been online since last visit.
I'll check them out now and give a reply or two and add my own soon enough to that thread topaz made previously. BTW I have watched it -- just haven't reviewed it.
The deadline for reviews to be in is 30 days after the Dec 19th review thread I made. When there is a week left I will send out reminders to members who've yet to post reviews.
I want to wait to discuss reviews until all have posted fully, everyone else can discuss when they please.
I'll send friendsfirst a PM first of this week if she doesn't log into forum, megvoh and link her with all threads.
I've just sent friendsfirst a reminder and all links to threads she may have missed over the holiday breaks.
Still awaiting hers, melancholia's, TheEvilJester's, pcmaster's and Jffs24 other part? of his review?
I won't be amending my review notes because I haven't been well and if anyone cannot understand what I wrote you can always ask me to clarify and will be happy to - but they are pretty straightforward thoughts as I went through watching the movie.
Okay -- got mine in, topaz, so did TEJ, obviously you and megvoh. So we are waiting for pc's, melancholia's and friendsfirst's. Thanks hun for creating the movie club, it is fun idea.
That was nice of you to say, Jffs24. Thank you. It's sad that the movie review threads will get locked up after I think a 30 day inactivity and others who stumble upon them won't be able to insert their own thoughts.
Going to send review reminders to pcmaster and melancholia today because I won't be available next few days. Could other members when seeing them online remind as well, thank you.
Haven't heard back from friendsfirst on the PM I sent her.
This is just me updating other members on info and a way for me to remind myself too :)
I don't envy you having to remind people -- hell I got mine in and I am not that responsible of a person LMAO so if my movie ever gets voted in and I run the review stuff I won't be reminding anyone, honor code folks.
I'm pretty certain pcmaster and melancholia have watched the movie off posts they made prior to Christmas, maybe they are still tweaking their reviews, idk or melancholia is waiting to post it last because it was her movie that won the vote but then she still could chat it up in review thread with the four of us so far, again idk.
Pcmaster is on my friends list so I'll poke him haha
Only awaiting melancholia and friendsfirst's reviews.. end of 30 days is the 19th.
Thanks to everyone who posted and contributed to the first round of the movie club, sorry it was timed around the holidays but appreciate the effort made to review and discuss. :) Posts can still be added to the 1st review thread after the 19 th up until second movie review thread is made and then we can let the first take it's 30 day lock in time.
I guess this is the thread you state you'd be willing to join the movie club? Yes ~ No? I would be willing if I have online access time to participate.
Welcome, breathe -- waiting for the next round to go up and who is going to do it.
pcmaster- did you talk to topaz about it yet? You've been on she hasn't again.
Didn't talk about it yet. If she havent been on then let it be. Lets just carry on without her. She can join later if she shows up.
Here I started new "suggest a movie" topic

I asked for help in pcmaster's thread ~ I'll post in here too in case someone reads here & not the other recent thread. Thanks :-]
Thanks, Jffs24.
pcmaster - okies - I'll give my suggestion over there I guess.
It's my second choice from last time, if people can't get a link to it HAHA like my movie will win LOL I can give anyone a link probably.
megvoh I just copied link as it is and forum automaticly made it clickable.
^Thanks, pc. I meant the link to the actual movie to watch to review though if any of you can't find it for free or for cheap viewing.
Where's topaz and Jffs24 we are missing them.
I'm here, megvoh -- but real busy this month. You're welcome, breathe.
So when is your poll going up, pcmaster? I don't have a movie in mind yet -- have to think on it and get back to you on that alright. Also -- why'd you make up a movie suggestion thread THIS thread is for that if you read what topazlight wrote --probably so the club doesn't spam up the movie section with 100s of threads, only ones for the actual reviewing is my guess, topazlight can say for sure.
I'll check your thread pc to see what movies have been said so far so I don't give a similar movie title.

I forgot about my VDay trip so I'll try to give my suggestion before leaving day of the 12th [ won't be back until the 18th ] -- if not then just re use my last movie suggestion since it wasn't chosen and I still haven't watched it myself yet.
~ Can we do in the cinema now movies too? For another round of movie reviews? I would like to suggest ~~~ The Revenant ~~~~ if we do. :-] I read earlier in the thread TheEvilJester suggesting the new Ghostbusters & I'd watch & review that movie also.
Jffs24 ~ have a fun Valentines trip.
breathe123: hello and welcome. I will add your name to the club members and yes we can do a review of all new suggestions... I will make a note that yourself and TheEvilJester have already picked movies you would like to review that are new and soon to be released. The Revenant and Ghostbusters ( female cast version to be released)
Sorry I was not online, we had a family death and I was not around a computer until now. So I will try to get caught back up.
Thank you, pcmaster for stepping up and doing the next movie choice for all of us. I will think and give you a movie in the thread you created before I sign off.
Melancholia and friendsfirst I hope you both will come back and join us in either this new review or any of the future ones that look interesting to you.

pcmaster - Gigabitch's suggested movie was : Mumford. Post #32 in this thread for when making your poll vote up and Jffs24's previous one was :127 Hours.
Okay topazlight will take that in count. Think will make poll this weekend.
Jffs24 , WB. Have a nice romantic Valentines vacation, are you going to propose?
topazlight, WB and *hugs* on your loss.
I read on pc's suggest thread that movie trilogies got mentioned and idea of us doing that, found article that said this were the top 12 movies for that, we could pick one of these in a future review session:
The 'Matrix' Trilogy
The 'Mad Max' Trilogy
The 'Before' Trilogy
The Jason Bourne Trilogy
The 'Vengeance' Trilogy
The 'Dark Knight' Trilogy
The 'Toy Story' Trilogy
The 'Dollars' Trilogy
The 'Lord of the Rings' Trilogy
The 'Godfather' Trilogy
'Star Wars' Episodes IV - VI ( think more to chose from idk )
Back to the Future
Also Pirates, Saw, Scream, Spiderman, Iron Man, X men and others.
Lots to pick from.
Thanks, breathe and meg -- and no, that would be way too obvious of a time to propose on VDay. She might be expecting though lmao, like the trip isn't enough.
I'd watch The matrix, LOTR's, Dark Knight ones again. Also I'd watch The Godfather and Xmen movies.
^ Haha I guess it would kind of be obvious on Valentines Day but still as welcomed ;) Enjoy your travels.
I'd watch maybe 4 out of the list I posted:
X-Men
Toy Story
Lotr
and maybe Dark knight ones.
Um, I beg your pardon, but I would very much like to clarify that I absolutely did NOT recommend the upcoming new Ghostbusters movie. I recommended the original. :-)
For the record, I have nothing against the idea of female Ghostbusters. In fact, I love Kylie from the 90's cartoon and the recent comics. I just cannot STAND Melissa McCarthy. I do not find her funny in the slightest and do not think her brand of humor is appropriate for my beloved franchise. I'm also not a huge fan of Kristen Wigg. I like her in some things, but find her extremely irritating in others, so a pretty good chance of winding up with annoying Kristen Wigg instead of tolerable Kristen Wigg in this.
Add to that the fact that I'm not a huge fan of Paul Feig's either, and I most certainly do NOT recommend the new movie. Honestly, maybe they'll surprise the Hell out of me with a really good movie in which Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wigg are both enjoyable, and in which the comedy feels completely appropriate for the franchise. If that happens, that's great and I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm just not holding out much hope for that.
Being a chick as I am lol I'd like to watch it and see what it turns out like ^^
We could do suggest comedies only and yours could be the original one of GBs what year is it? we could do comedies off that year and see what each of us pick, that could be funny and fun, yes, no?
My movie will never get enough votes for me to do any of this shit wah lol so hope one of you think about it.
Thank you for your hugs, megvoh. On the comedies only review and comedies from a specific decade is fine by me and thank you for the trilogy list you posted above. The Before Trilogy would be one I would enjoy, and others listed I have not seen previously before.
Oh, I am sorry, TheEvilJester. I misread or didn't remember correctly what you posted regarding Ghostbusters, old and new versions. I cannot go back and edit that post, but will try to now recall you don't recommend the newer version for reviewing only the original version. I do now recall you saying you did not like those actresses though, especially Melissa McCarthy. I read they are for some reason using a lot of SNL regulars, new and old in it, wonder why?
I think my older comedy choice would be .. When Harry met Sally.
Ladies lets go, Soldiers lets go ! The vote of Movie Club season 2 have started
https://www.loveforum.net/romance-love-movies-music-and-books/97152-vote-movie-watch-review-movie-club-season-2-a.html
On older comedies for a movie poll vote ~ I'd pick maybe Pretty in Pink.
Just to note submissions for older comedy movies so far in-case whomever runs a round involving such you won't have to ask for movies off those already given:
Ghostbusters - TheEvilJester
Pretty in Pink - breathe123
When Harry met Sally - Me - topazlight
Wish I could edit posts after time has passed on here.
