What Annoyed you today

I have two roommates. I get along well with the guy - we just flirt a lot and make sarcastic comments to each other. Sometimes we take walks together or go to the store. She walked into the kitchen today and said "hi" to him, and he ignored her and walked into his room. Unless I'm in the room, he doesn't talk to her, and then kind of only through me. She asked me if I knew why he didn't like her, and my only thoughts were that he holds ridiculous grudges, or that she's super attractive and he's trying to resist the urge to jump her. This doesn't directly impact me but it makes things very unpleasant for her and she is counting down the weeks till he moves out. I can't decide if I should casually ask him if he is still annoyed at her being here, or what.

Tell the guy his rudeness is very awkward for you to witness, and you'd appreciate it if he could show some of his better qualities to the new girl because it is embarrassing to gush on and on about how great a guy is that is treated the new kid on the block so dismissively.

Trying to find a new car is no fun :(

I totally forgot my car's tags are done in two days! Damn. Gotta go get smogged and see if the DMV will handle my shiz without an appointment. Oh, and tomorrow's Friday, meaning there is a good chance the DMVs will be closed. Double damn.

My fiancee is nagging at me as if I never help out with any chores. I've been washing dishes every day, in addition to cleaning, mopping and scrubbing the floors weekly. I help sort the laundry and I set the table every day for lunch. She's pissed and jealous because while she is writing her Master, I am playing a flight simulator. I don't think that equates to nothing - I've been flying all over virtual USA all day. I can't stand it when people nag. Why fix something that isn't broken?

I tried to get flight simulator x but I can't get it to work on linux.

Patient diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago, and refused chemotherapy in favor of homeopathic "medication", was readmitted with difficulty breathing. Of course, the cancer has now spread everywhere, and she is going to die. She is in her late 40s. :(

If I were her, I would feel like a complete idiot.

Darwin - I hate to say it, but reap what you sow.

I had the motherbitch of all customers tonight.

I went on a short break, and asked my coworker to cover my tables. I come back to find that this woman has apparently been waiting for her check FOREVER. My coworker knew nothing of this, and I trust that he does his job right. I go print it for her and bring it out. I said, "No rush. Whenever you're ready." To which she snapped, "I'm ready now!" I assure her that I'll be right back with her credit slip. I bring it out and leave it for her to sign. She then comes up to the front counter asking for her line receipt. I told her that it would print as soon as I finalized her credit transaction. She said, "I've been waiting to leave. I need the line receipt." I say, "Yes, of course. I'll reprint it for you." In reality, she should have looked at the original I had printed for her instead of throwing her credit card at me like a damn shuriken.

I then let my coworker handle the rest of the check. He told me later on that she had asked him if we all split the tips. He told her, "Yes" and inquired if everything was all right. She said, "I don't want to leave HER a tip." I wasn't even her f*cking server!!
