i with i looked like her to be honest. but c'est la vie.

but once again, i still have my doubts about her persona in general, it's hard to take some of the things that "she" posts seriously.

Yeh, that crossed my mind as well. She's from Russia, a child of the 90s. The 90s in Russia was a period of extreme poverty and a lot of people who ended up in the west went through the grinder. What's even sadder is I read a lot of stories about girls like Elle who dream big, but have little understanding on how to attain those dreams. Girls running away from home to a 2nd rate con artist who tells them he will fulfill all of their dreams and fantasies only to end up working on a street corner or in porn industry. It's very, very sad.

It's not the same to what you have. Imagine someone who's been in US for only six months and they already put on this fake, "I am better than any Russian back home because I'm in the west" type of English accent when they speak Russian. It's a type of accent that exists for a sole purpose to somehow convey a feeling that they are now in the west and therefore they are the best. I bet you've seen some examples of that already. It's so fake and pretentious that it's laughable.

But if you seriously never experienced it then one day when we walk the streets of Chicago I will point them out to you.

Mish I think she said she's from Poland ( and if she was I think she would rather show polish models than russian ) .But if not I'll be glad to give You, Russians ,such a treasure : Elle .

yeah, i find that pretty insulting to be compared to her, lol :)

life's been fun and overwhelming lately. lots of new info to absorb at work. it sucks all the energy out of me but hopefully in the end will pay off.

i haven't been back home since i left at 12 and not planning to ever go. it's not my world anymore. i don't think i'd be able to make it there. got so used to the comfortable life in the states, if one day i wake up and there'd be no hot water, i'd most likely have a heart attack :)
