Uhhh... would it be appropriate to congratulate you now?Quote:

Yes. I'm happy, but also very terrified. I know I need to stay in San Diego and see this through. I don't know what it means for me and my boyfriend though. He leaves for New York next month as he's grown tired of San Diego. I was planning on moving home to Boston as San Diego hadn't yielded much for me. But now this... My history of impulsively picking up and leaving has prevented me from further developing any long-term goals. It's time to be a big girl though.Quote:

I'm freaking out. I love my boyfriend so much. But if I leave now, I'll be back at Square One. I have a real opportunity to grow now, and I have to take it. This sucks so much right now.
I need to stop getting myself worked up. I haven't even told him yet. I just found out 5 hours ago.
Well, I believe that both of you have established your relationship quite well. I'm sure having an LDR would be a little bit more challenging though. Looks like I'll be having a partner here in LF to advice people on how to maintain LDRs
Congratulations on your new position! You still need to tell him though, hope he won't freak out over it. It sure is quite a long haul from San Diego to NY. That requires quite a commitment from both of you :D
Well, he just called (as he usually does when I finish up work) and I came right out with it when he asked if I was definitely leaving on the 15th next month. I started crying, and he said, "Lahnna, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Please, don't turn it down. This will open up so many doors for you, and all I want is what's best for you. I love you so much, and you deserve this." Then I started crying out of happiness. He said that we'll certainly try the distance and see how it works for us. He said that he doesn't want to lose me at all. I am so elated right now. I am so in love with him it's ridiculous.Quote:

If distance doesn't work, I'm sure he'll readily go back to San Diego just for you. It's something I've learned, the place becomes not that important as long as you're with your loved one :)
I'm annoyed at being so confused. Why cant life and men ever be simple?
The fact that a guy I like and am supposed to be dating did not respond to any of my feelings today
I hate when people tell you to "calm down, and take a deep breath" when you are simply busy, and not the least bit agitated. Don't these people KNOW they are annoying, and actually CAUSE agitation?
the bread that i use almost every day to make toast was put in the freezer today because 'there was no space for the scones'. i don't want frozen bread!
and i'm getting constantly reminded that 'you get your A2 exam results in less than 2 days. EVERYTHING'S going to change.' i'm aware of that, you don't have to tell me for the millionth time.
Well guess wot..? I just found out im moving house i so badly dont want to go :(( man not only has this annoyed me its pissed me off and i got butterflies im dreading it ...:((
how far away are you going? how old are you again?Quote:
