For laptops, you need a really good brand. You can google "brand name" coupons, and it gives you these codes you can enter to get hundreds of dollars off!!! My dad bought a dell inspiron last year, it was $899 originally, but he found this coupon code on google which gave him a $300 discount. ;)

that's a good deal. i know about getting a good brand. i bought a laptop a few years ago and the harddrive burned out a year after i bought it. so i bought another harddrive and that one burned out like a month later. what an expensive piece of caca that was.

Yeah, laptops are nightmare machines if they have bad brands, hp and ibm are pretty good. Mac books kick a55, and personally, i dispise dell products. You buy dell computers/laptops cheaper than $1000, they give you ****ing bad quality computer parts. But if its over $1000, then thats probably more worth buying. But overall...dell sucks a55.

hp dv9000z i think. it's approximately $1500 (not the cheapest), or was when i was thinking about getting it. it's got some good parts on it.

check out some thinkpads and acer laptops. how about you just go to walmart and pick one out.

thanks lilwang. the last laptop i bought was from the price club. i don't think i want to buy a laptop at walmart.

i freakin hate walmart.
