i hate the people who prejudge... yes its not exactly good 4 your health, yes it does **** you up if you do it habitually, but think about it! if it was a case that everyone who took it turned into a jibbering mess in a straight jacket.... do you think there would be as many raves/parties as there are?

i go partying almost every weekend [maybe just once a month depending on the cash flow] and i am still in a fairly high paid respectable electrical engineering job studying for a degree....

i reckon me n ol' raverboy probably have a canny bit in common!


oh and ladies... i no alot of you all prejudge if youve never heard of or taken 'drugs' [at least they do here] and immediately cross us guys off your list of 'prospective candidates' as it were...

but trust me... were not all eejuts! ;):D

I don't prejudge people for taking drugs. It's drug abuse I cannot tolerate.

you mean like drinking too many cups of coffee and gettin the shakes like 80% of the industrialised working nations or valium to help you sleep like alot of 'privaliged' men & women...

... or just the generic label of a 'drug abuser' being some1 who takes drugs...

How is drug abuse a generic title? I didn't say "drug user". I mean someone who has a serious problem with drugs, is killing himself with it, and needs rehab. If you have a serious problem where the drug becomes all-important in your life, and it seriously impairs your ability to function normally, then yes, I will cross you off my list. Even if it's valium.

And coffee doesn't count...that's not even in the same league as drugs like valium or ecstacy.

i have a friend who's killing herself with caffeine. she doesn't eat healthy either.

the girl has 2 quad shot lattes a day and eats pastries, all from starbucks.

it's depressing. i told her that she's going to be a sick, angry mom if she doesn't take care of herself. she's always really jumpy and stuff too cause she's so doped up on coffee.

If excessive drinking of coffee or eating of pastries, caused someone to be a d**k to me, then I'd have to put that on my list, too.

i don't mind them acting like dicks, as long as they don't steal my stuff like the freakin crackheads around here.

yup psydex.. i think that way too many people judge before they have tried something themselves. people in general like to think that they know it all... but we as humans don't realize that as a group we are dumb.

it's ok, because i think that i also know everything about doctors and their dumb drugs...

I don't think he was judging (at least not in that case). He never said anything about anyone that I am aware. He got it from articles and 'info'. He loved telling us about a few things he tried. One thing is particular--mushrooms. He was quite carefree, in fact I found many scientists to be somewhat carefree in things (I'm not sure why...maybe because they research them a little bit or become very curious hehe).

it's the way that you wrote it that make your professor seem the way that he was presented.

I was playing with ya on the memory comment. He didn't say that. He said the rest but it's not in the right context so I can see it as insulting. You had to see him present it. Like when he tried the mushrooms he was telling us how it f* up his senses. He was a comedian about it. I, on the other hand, am not so funny. :( I try but I mostly get stares, lol, as I seem too serious when I make presentations with a hint of comedy.
