He means that nothing will come of this. This guy is obviously a tad bothered by your incessant calls to his place of work. So stop calling him there. It is inappropriate to take casual personal calls on a workplace phone, so you could potentially get him into trouble. Then he'd really avoid you.
You need to move on. You're far too hung up on this situation.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! How many times does this point have to be made? Ok....I said it, Lahnnabell said it, and I believe that Lilak said it.......stop calling this guy at work! Go back and read the previous comments before asking the same questions over and over again. At this point you need to leave him alone and move on because it is starting to look like you are stalking him. The window for you to contact him without looking weird has passed.
