What happened? You had a fight, and it flipped a switch in his brain that told him to distance himself from you. Then again you left out what you fought over, so how the hell should we know what broke and where?

You were divorcing, he probably wanted more but couldn't have it due to your nebulous status and situation, so he stopped the relationship in his mind before stopping it with you. The end.
