Yeah, I noticed that the people who admit to a lot of changes are the ones in their teens and early 20s. This just goes to show that we old folks are right when we tell you there is still a lot of growing to do in your 20s.Quote:

Funny you ask, a few days ago my friend showed me a photo of me from 5 years ago telling me how much I've changed.Quote:

And I've changed a lot, mostly for the better (I hope). I attribute this change mostly to all the relationships I've been through in that time. My girls helped me find myself.
Older people change, too. You just don't admit it ;)Quote:

There's a saying about how when you stop growing you die (or might as well be dead).
the funny thing is, you don't really grow at all... you just think you do.
Meh. By that logic I just think I'm 'not dead' too.
If you don't mind, I'll just prefer to think of myself as living, and growing, for a little while longer. Somehow, it works for me.
i'm just giving you a little thought, indie. i'm the kind of guy that divides by 0 deliberately.
Well, I'm not so closed minded that I can't learn about new ideas from those younger than I, but its rare I meet someone like that, lol. I doubt that philosophy, math or science will be likely subjects for you but who knows?
Now, I know next to nothing about art & not much more about computers. You could try those, hun. ;)
Are you trying to say you HAVE experienced radical changes to your core person in the last five years? I'm not talking about small things, but rather the really big things. I mean, I've gone back to school, so certainly I am growing, but that doesn't constitute a radical change to my being...Quote:

I would say that you going back to school is a big change, Vash.
But, nah, I wouldn't say I'm radically different from 5 years ago. I remember taking that life test on here a while back, the one that asked stuff about travel, education, family, being someone's boss, etc. I think I pegged at 95% complete.
Might as well retire now, put that way. ;)
lol! what a bitch! if you think i am a dumbass, come out and say it. you're only hurting your credibility, though, not my self-esteem.Quote:

Or you could've said that the OP didn't say anything about radical changes to your core being, but rather "did you experience anything that changed the way you lived your life?", begging the question where the "radical changes to your core being" came from.Quote:

I would, because I'm a shit stirrer :)
Я тебя люблю Мишаня :)
that's changed the way i live.
Sometimes it's hard for us to accept that the choices we made were wrong, things often get diluted when we are viewing them from up close and it can be scary to move and view them from a little further away.Quote:
