starbuck I realise that. I'm saying that I can currently come up with about 17 completely different scenarios about this. The point is I know that I'm going to be "let down easy". The difference is that I also know people's opinions change over time (though I know girls tend to be very rooted).

Women and men are friends on different levels.
Men are friends with women because given the chance, they'd **** them.
Women are friends with men because they just want to be friends, though there are some friends that women have where they'd **** them.
This is from the mouth of many women. But they will also repeat what I've said... the friend zone is impossible to get out of. Any man that was a friend before a lover wasn't in that zone yet.

It involves her telling you that she likes you as a friend and wants to keep the friendship and that she hopes you aren't hurt by this. She might also tell you that maybe someday things can be different. She's not saying that because she truly means it. She's saying it because she's trying to give you hope so you feel better about the situation.
You can go on thinking that there is a chance in the future. But right now, she's going to let you down easy while drinking a smoothie. What are you going to do in the meantime, wait for her? That doesn't sound like any fun.Quote:

No, in the meantime I'm gonna drink a smoothie while eating a king ceaser wrap. And like I just said, I intend to react to the situation as it happens. Besides I know she likes shotgunning and flying and so do I. Once I get my private pilots license this year I can finally have a flying buddy and shooting partner at the gun club (My dad is too busy for both and my mom hates flying and doesn't do shotguns).Quote:

INT, if you can geniunely be friends with her in the future without feeling bad about it, then more power to you. But if you are settling with being her best bud while you secretly wish for something more romantic with her, it's not really that fair to you.
