I had the same situation once and we broke up and I wouldn't have found the man of my dreams if we hadn't. We have been very happy married and childfree for 8 years. That woman should wise up and not get back with her boyfriend. It is incredibly selfish to have children thinking they will care for you when your'e old! And whoever thinks that the only reason to get married is to have children, you are the crazy one. I love being married without children!
