The answer is because people don't care.
It takes effort to actually use proper syntax/sentence structure while being grammatically correct.

I can understand that not everyone speaks English as a first language. I see this in Québec frequently as French is the official language and many don't speak it regularly until high school. Outside of the island(Montréal), many don't speak English at all. But for those that do speak it as their first and likely only language, it's very difficult to read their text talk.

People spelling "lose" as "loose" is the most annoying for me, particularly because it's so rampant. E.g. "I don't know what I'll do if I loose her,"

I get all riled up about people who say "Language or lack of?" instead of "Language or lack thereof?".
Makes me want to eat puppies with nutella on top.

I think that people don't pay so much attention on the language.. For me it takes a lot of time to write and there are errors on my sentences since English is not my first language..
