How can you not get my point?
What if someone less skilled replaced you for half the pay you get, with no benefits?
How are you supposed to compete with that?
So what you're saying is we should be glad they've been kept illegal, because if they were made citizens, they would actually have rights, and therefore demand higher pay.
I see what you're saying, so if we can keep the status quo, we'll be better off.
If we kick them out, contractors will be forced to pay American citizens properly.
If we legalize them, contractors will be forced to pay...American citizens properly.
Looks like it's a lose-lose. In the end the American people will end up paying...more money to have their grass cut.
