You need to be more outgoing and in doing that you just have to suck it up and stop being shy. Boys will generally ask you out after getting a good conversation going as it shows that you are interested in him.

I went out to a party and had a few half decent conversation with the middle of the range girls but none of them would give me a chance and some even seemed as though they didn't like me at all. The most attractive girl at the entire party caught me perving on her and smiled at me so I went over to her, shook her hand, told her my name and she made room for me to sit down.

I sat down and we had a long conversation which led to me paying her a couple of compliments and little bit of somewhat smoothe talking later she gave me her number and agreed to go on a date.

She was a little drunk so I wasn't going to make a move on her then, she might reject me and if we go on a date it might not go anywhere because she is likely too good looking for me but atleast I gave it a shot.

It's amusingly ironic that you accuse me of stupidity while you don't even realize how stupid the above looks to majority of regulars on LF. I'm not going to tell you why, but I doubt you have enough brain cells to figure it out for yourself.
