The Racism Thread

that happens with all ethnicities though. there are a bunch of people where i live who are white as can be and try to act hispanic. they try with the accent, "odale holmes, wasshappening bro?" imagine a white person saying that. it's silly. there's also the "mexican trash" as well. there's a proverbial armpit of every race.

alright.. so after reading the first post by nomas, i took a glance at the date and realized that THIS is an old thread. last september to be exact. being lazy, i didn't wanna scroll through 6 pages of posting so this is only in reguards to the first post.

nomas... it's a good thing that you have not experienced racism or discrimination. i think that hawaii is considered a melting pot of many various ethnicities. we have just about every culture, but i don't think that i've ever met someone from iceland.

i think that the only time that i feel as though racism is probably happening is when i travel. being that i'm a tourist and i dunno the local culture or my surroundings, you stnad out like a sore thumb. some people take it lightly and some people will bash down on you.
