you are the best misombra!
Terminé mi última lección, quiero saber mas, maestra Mi Sombra!
hey risa. i'm wiped today. i'll get you another lesson in the morning.
did you get a spanish dictionary yet?
what would you like to learn? there is so much.
no, i didn't get a dictionary yet. this tax season has hit me kinda hard, i hardly had time to go shopping for groceries. had my mom do all the chores. finally finished last tax last night, will try to get one this weekend, or maybe ask around the office for one.
the verbs that we we went through did a lot a of good, i am sort of able to construct simple sentences that i can use around the office, and the songs that you post help me remember and practice the words even better. i loved quiero saber by the way, the whole day i tried to use no quiero saber anytime someone would ask me something :)
could you you give conjugations of the word debes, which you used previously, and how to use it.
how about i'll give you the verb and you conjugate it.

no se donde poner mis ojos si no en tu cuerpo
y por eso no miro el mundo si no estas tu
i don't know where to put my eyes if not on your body
and that's why i don't see the world if you're not here.
you can use the word esta or estas talking about if a person is present. like the way the guy uses it in this song.
no estas tu- you're not here.
si means yes, but it also means if. and "a ver" means to see. like to check on something. "a ver si puedo"= let's see if i can do it...
poder- to be able (irregular -er verb)
yo puedo
tu puedes
el puede
ellos pueden
nosotros podemos
what is he saying when he says "cuando me tengo que ir." ?
yo deboQuote:

lo in front of a verb means you're doing something to it...
lo encuentro- i found it
lo puedo- i can do it
lo sabes- you know it
this would lead to the lesson i was trying to give you but i lost you a little.
if you're doing something to you, you would put "te" in front of the verb.
te amo- i love you
te encuentro- i found you
te tengo- i have you...
