Haha it sure looked like it.
Are you what..somehow..ashamed you were from China? or something? hmm.
You do know what pms means right?
And why would I be ashamed because i'm chinese? Whats so bad about china?
ROFL. Are you kidding? How can I not know, duh. Yeah, exactly what I was thinking. What's so bad about China? I asked if you're from China and you were like.. NOWAY. Well, at least.. sounded like it.Quote:

Haha oh well, I was just weirded out by your response, I guess. A plain "No, I'm in North America." would be enough.
no, i said i am chinese, and i told you how most people don't usually get computers. But i live in north america.
I think computers and internet should be a human right at this point..
I still wonder why they don't usually get computers in China. Yeah maybe, when you were still in China, it was really hard to get computers or something. But nowadays, I'm sure a lot has changed. Computer plays a big role now education-wise. Since you said, you people are worried about getting good grades and stuff, shouldn't computers be a must-have then?Quote:

Yeah...in the few big cities beside the pacific...but once you go further inland, its a living hell. They don't have a trace of technology, and most people still starve to death.
and they made us do hand written work only. Well, gotta hit the sack, its already 2:00AM. I'm a lazy guy. :bored:
Yeah but that was ages ago. Ten years ago, I didn't have a computer of my own either.Quote:

Primarily because you guys didn't have computers then. Doing hand written papers suck, especially for a perfectionist like me. I'd prolly be wasting a lot of paper. And effort, at that.Quote:

I got my first one when I was on 5th grade. Before that, I only get the chance to use the computer while at school.
I have cousins that live there.

China is a devastatingly poor country. When this guy tells you people are starving to death in the streets there, he isn't kidding. Computers are a luxury item. You can't compare your own situation to the people of China.

I'd say there are places in China where poverty is extreme and people there can not afford a computer; while there are some places in China, where people can. It's the same here, and every other country where poverty is a major problem.Quote:

It still doesn't follow, that if you're in China you won't have a computer.
