Meh I wouldn't expect the girl to keep her vagina all sewed up if she had to take care of me for the rest of my life.
But just looking at marriage from the religious perspective, even though that is not my own, it is very wrong to have a sex partner, is it not? That has been my argument, and people are still like "nopes teh bible dont say dat1!!!1"
Why is religion changing like that? Why do we have to modernize it? Because our views are changing. Looking at adultery alone, how many Catholics, Christians, Jews, and Islams are still faithful? I don't think many are, when young boys are looking at porn, teenagers are having sex, and all that. It's all overlooked because views have changed, and religion is 'modernized'. Things are acceptable these days... all you have to do is repent... a difference of years is the difference between that and being stoned to death, excommunicated, or casted out of society.
Because of that, church and state should be separated. Since everybody's views are different, I think something like marriage should be governed a little more loosely. In fact, I think it needs to take a different name. I think marriage should coexist with it, for religious people who choose to be more faithful to their religion. Before people are legally allowed to seek sex partners, I think polygamous marriages and homosexual marriages should be legal.
Anyone that disagrees with that is a moron.
