I don't even know how you get that assumption, considering the republicans started to act more and more like the democrats.Quote:

Traditionally it would make more sense for Democrats to spend more because they're taxing so much. Big government needs more money for spending and keeping the "machine" oiled and running.
Republicans, tradtionally being fiscally conservative, were about small government, which meant Big government didn't need so much money to exist, so they against unnecessary taxing. The problem is that republicans as of recent have been spending like democrats without taxing the people so it's put them, and us in the hole. You can't have both, it, it f*cks everything up.
To anyone who is not an American citizen-
Don't ever give your opinion on American politics again, tell us who to vote for or how to run our country
Thanks!
The rest of the world wouldn't have an opinion if America didn't insist on interfering with the rest of the world spreading so called 'democracy'
I'm just kind of annoyed because earlier today I was reading peoples comments on North Korea, and non-Americans were saying dumb shit like "They should have invaded N. Korea but since they have nukes they didn't cause they're a bunch of pussies" and other stuff like that
I'm tired of this.Quote:

If America helps another country, we're the bad guys.
If America sits back and lets shit happen, we're the bad guys.
Make up your ****ing minds.

People will be mad at us initially once we stop "helping" the rest of the world, but eventually they'd forget about hating us and hate someone else who steps up to the plate. We'd just have to give up our super power status. Not that that's saying much anymore.
Just look at Sweden.
It's not something you can just "give up" Fras
I think the bigest problem is that US (just like many other countries today) helps others only when it can get a benefit (ussually double benefit) for self. One of the reasons why nothing is being done in Sudan. That kind of help on many occasions causes more problems than it solves in foreign countries which are not on US soil for people who are not US citizents. There is a reason why some people are not happy.
Alright, that's my "US hate speech" for the day, I'll go back to exploring Montreal now :)
I see nothing wrong with the US helping other countries only when it benefits us as well. We spend OUR money to help these countries. Why the hell should we help and spend our money when we get nothing out of it?
Because that kind of help is often to secure US financial interests only and it creates more problems than it solves. It's a kind of help that starts conflicts and then puts US in a position where they have to intervene millitarily in order to secure assetts.
'helping' is the nice name America uses for exploiting....why does there have to be a catch?Quote:
