What did she say that in reference to? The recession?

I must have missed this story.

I don't know what she said it in response to, but I found it funny she said it because her kid has Downs syndrome. So she should really know about "life having its downs"

I don't get it....what kind of role model is she supposed to be?

I'd like to think I'd raise daughters with a little more on the ball than her. Even Hilary is a better role model.

Maybe McCain had in mind some gun slinging Rednecks from the bible belt when he said that :D
