I was talking about the same thing before, the importer vs exporter status of intellectual material. The countries with the strongest economies (US, Germany, and Japan) have the most practical and useful engineering companies that develop the plans for products

Grades by themselves are only an indication of potential intellect. Its what you do w/what you learn that counts.

Gribble, for example, I haven't a clue what he does or his schooling. But he's another one w/the 'right stuff' (IMO). LOL.

Hmmm I disagree. I'd have to talk to people and probe their understanding of different branches of math as well as common sense math, and look at their ability in organic chemistry after they've been taught the material, that's definitely how I would go about it

I don't know about that anymore. Though the dollar is picking up. Everyone at work is being cut throat over who is going to stay and who is going to leave. If it's not just panic, it looks like a recession. Funny how an economic crisis can bring out people's true character.

I've yet to see the best in people. I got very upset to see people that I trusted and helped, to turn around and stab you in the back just when times get hard and they fear losing their job.
