I'm annoyed that I got home after a happy, productive day, feeling good, and as soon as it was time for bed my mind started racing. I'm exhausted and I can't sleep.
I heard on the news today that the snowmobile accident that my friend was killed in last week is still under investigation...apparently more people (his friends) were on the scene and left to avoid getting DWI's. His best friend stayed and got a DWI and feels absolutely horrible. What a mess.
Once again, it's Santa Fe drivers when the snow starts to fall. For God's sake, why do these people even live here? They clearly belong in Florida.
My daughter had a big-ass seizure tonight, the biggest one I've seen her have. She was in the bathroom with the door locked, getting out of the tub when she fell. I had to figure out how to pick the lock to get into her, and her body was blocking the door.
Agghhh. The stress and worry is killing me.

We don't know what causes this for her. He neurologist said it was hereditary, but we know of no family members with seizures. She's medicated, but not well-controlled. The medication that DID control her also came with a lot of bad side effects, so we had to take her off it.Quote:

Pettit - she was okay afterwards, but the seizures leave you disoriented and extremely fatigued, and depending on the convulsions, your body can be really sore afterwards. She was convulsing in a pretty bad spot. We are REALLY lucky she didn't do any more damage than she did.
