This is great, now I can make fun of her behind her back! Bwahahahahahaha *evil annoying laugh*
I hope the counselling helps, Girl. I am right about the divorced children, yes. Your problems as described are completely consistent and your language gives the rest away. You should hope your counsellor is as perceptive. Still, you are on your path which is a start. Good luck with it.
I doubt completely that I'd be issue free should my parents still be together. Not a hope in hell trying to prove but whatever. You know best Indi.
Are you going to tell the counsellor that too? LOL, I mean *they* only have a PhD.
You aren't ready to listen to anyone else yet. But you will when it matters enough.
many cousellors do not have PhD.
great argument! short and precise!
So go to the ones that don't so you can argue with them and tell them they are wrong? Brilliant. :DQuote:

If you are paying $160/session for a counsellor, they'd better be a Reg Psych (PhD) or you are paying too much.
sweet darling, it is not an argument it is a statement of fact.Quote:

Who the hell said I wanted to argue with them. I get all my kicks for that here, with you. I'm not paying a pretty penny.Quote:

how was the first session girl? I'm not sure what time it is over there, but it's Friday here, so you must've been by now?
hope it went well.
thanks for asking.
I knew as soon as I met her we wouldn't work out. She's not the counsellor for me. She refused to talk about porn and strippers saying that's not a topic she knows about so she can't help me with that.
But in regards to aging and me thinking that life after 30 is all downhill is because I don't have anything to look forward to. Which makes much sense. And also that my not finishing school has a lot to do with it.
I've taken 4 years worth of post secondary in many areas: criminology, psychology, sociology, law, math and anthropology. I didn't end up with a degree in anything. She thinks that a lot of what I describe above is because I feel like I've failed myself. I don't really think so, but she's talking about subconscious feelings. Maybe she's onto something. But I'm not going back to finish for a long, long time- if ever.
She's going to refer me to a man to help look into some other issues I mentioned.
First session: okay but the match was off.
