TV is for failures.
I don't like Spanish TV much so I don't really watch it except for the occasional films, series and news. I had British TV for a few years and I liked and followed many of their shows though.
Except for House of Cards, which was awesome. I'm surprised you haven't seen it, KZ. Well worth $8 for a month of Netflix to watch both seasons.Quote:

lmao, not all tv series suck reality tv does and most comedies, but it has some decent stuff if you look. or do you mean people who watch tv are failures? no just money poor and can't get outside entertainment and since we pay for cable might as well watch it. hbo has some good shows.Quote:

Yes, it is a comedy/drama about a womens prison, it has some known actors in it, female and male. The actress from the 70s show is in it, so is Jason Biggs from American pie movies.
I still watch Hannibal, anyone else into that show? It is on its second season. It is like watching a mini movie each episode.
Still watching the Walking Dead.
I watched a new show called Crisis. Kidnapping kids one being the presidents kid.
Not a new show but I saw the finale to HIMYM and fans are furious about the ending lol? Not sure why the show was never about "The mother" she wasn't at the start of the series his love for Robin was at the start and the series went 9 years. I never liked Robin/Barney so don't mind the ending.
Me again lol.
Anyone see the new series Fargo? So good has Billy Bob Thornton playing a lead in it if you loved the movie you'd love the tv show it isn't 100% like the movie different character but the Cohen bros are still involved. A+
Mixology :D and Penny Dreadful (new horror-ish one about frankenstein, dracula and dorian gray) I think I watch more tv than and others internet more than me. LoL.
lots of new shows to investigate in my down time. i've seen fargo so far enjoy it too. billy-bob is creepy good as always in it. i think it is better than the movie.
interesting thread
finally caught penny dreadful's first episode, it was alright and has some big names in it.Quote:

Did anyone else watch Hannibals season finale? If you don't watch go back and watch OP and others.
**** shit went down. Bodies everywhere and not expected ones.
i used to watch hannibal its 1st season. i need to get back into the rest of the new season. i have friends who are into it and heard about the bloodfest in the finale it sounds good, i like shows with twists and turns and not predictable story lines and killing off main player characters.
I've just found Penny Dreadful too. It hasn't been shown here in Australia, so I'm patiently waiting for each episode to be uploaded to the internet.
I'm addicted to The Following. And American Horror Story. Idk if those are still considered "new" though :/
check if this site works for you in australia, basilandthyme.Quote:

haven't seen either of those, hatesthis. are they both comedies?
Not a new series but The Walking Dead is awesome and can be pretty gruesome. The Grimm is also great.
the walking dead is a consistently great show, same way breaking bad was.
Sleepy Hollow is done for the season. It won't be back on til October, just like the Walking dead.
What??? Walking dead is back in October??? Not September??? No!!!!!
And I miss Dexter and his killing spree!
The Coven is, and it is the best out of all of them. Can't wait for the new season.Quote:

Yes, one is about a woman who comes back to help her best friend with her pregnancy after she caught her husband cheating with someone online. The two actresses are actually best friends in real life and work great off each other, seems like a lot of improv happening.Quote:

People's Couch.. is a reality type show where you see how real people( probably actors, haha) watching todays reality shows and tv shows. It is really funny.
You guys get to see it before we do. I think it's 2 weeks apart. It's like that with all shows from the states for us canucks. I have IP blocker and IP address app now so I can watch episodes ahead of time. Screw you CRTC!Quote:

They better not cancel the damn show...I need all the eye candy I can get!
i recall you mentioning how much you liked that show and actor in the other section of the forums, you didn't want them to hook up the two main characters. lots of shows are gettin the axe or doing series finales.
Besides the eye candy, they introduce a lot of real American history into the show which I truly enjoy. The costumes, the language, etc has been spot on so far. I think it adds quality to the show.
If the two main character hooked up that would lose integrity of the show....typical cheeseiness.
I tried to watch Penny Dreadful last night and couldn't get the whole thing. Is it a combination of Frankenstien and Dracula
( I know Mina was a character in the movie Dracula).
yeah, hatesthis mentioned that one, i've watched all 3 episodes, did you try the link i gave for basil? or you mean you found the plot confusing? there was another show i think it was on netflix's called hemlock grove, penny dreadful reminds me of that in a way, only the story is better in penny one and less teenagerish.Quote:

i 100% agree, smackie. the two leads have good chemistry without ruining it by hooking them up as a plot line, plus he can still possibly be with his witch wife, nothing seems impossible in that show. i like his fish out of water take on things too.
