This should go here or should it go in your off topics section, someone can move if I mis-posted my thread.
Mine is Bridget Jones's Diary and then Pitch perfect for a newer release.
Going to watch both tonight with my BBF.

I like Amelie and the movie ET.
Thanks and I think E.T is a sweet movie for a pick - me - up.
For sheer laughs I always put Bridesmaids back on, it always makes me smile and laugh.
Thanks I've seen that one too and it was hilarious.. hope they make a 2nd one for it.
Other day or even still today, Haha I can't manage to keep track of my hours and days lately anyhow.. I said I like vampire/zombie movies when bored one of the ones I always return to watching is Shaun of the Dead because it's hilariously funny and well done.
I love that one too, lots of good British comedies out there to watch when bored.
Bunch of us used to watch the Star Wars movies over and over -- I liked Weddings Crashers and Fight Club.
Fight club that's a good movie. Never watched any of the SW's movies myself.
Magic Mike lol and also Easy A are two others I enjoyed on repeat watching.
True Romance
I don't know that movie either woody, what do you like about it that it's your pick me upper movie? Is it romantic?
matrix movies. lotr's too.
Lord of the Ring movies are good, especially the 1st. Never saw Matrix.
I like to watch some of my more liked HP movies. I probably should have out grown those but :D no.
My GF is obsessed with the Harry Potter movies too, idk why -- I couldn't get into them at all. She has all the books too.
You know most of the movies both Daniel and Emma have done since are pretty good too.
It's not Christmas yet but It's a Wonderful Life is one I will watch every year, no fail.
Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon(1985) dumb + cheesy...what's not to love?
I don't even know that one, solarion. I'll google it to read its plot.
You'll never watch it if you read about it. It's really a brain dead movie, but it makes me feel good. It's a kind of action packed musical romantic comedy...kitchen sinkish thing.
Suggest utube.

LoL you're right. It didn't look by description something I'd watch :D But I can get into real cheese-fest movies at times.
There's an older Hugh Grant movie I love called About a Boy I think the America made a T.v show out of it with Minnie Driver.
Monsters, Inc.
The GodFather parts one and two. Not three, do not watch the third one.
I've never seen any of the Godfather movies, woody but I know about them, is the 3rd one just an awful watch?
Comparatively yes.
Worthwhile to watch the first two (i.m.o) and you can decide if you like the third, though if you do watch it (the 3rd), I think you'll know what I mean.
The secret of kells.
I love most of the Disney Pixar movies myself.
Monsters Inc
Finding nemo
Brave
Toy Story ones
Up
Drew Barrymore movies ~ recently re watched Never Been Kissed & enjoy Ever After.
I like alot of hers too. She did one with Hugh Grant I also liked.
I watched Hot Tub Time Machine again and still laughed through it all over again on another viewing -- so guess that one goes on my list :D
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
I watched The Notebook a few times.
The Saw franchise. When I am feeling down, they always fill me with such glee and joy.
LOL! I'm kidding, of course.
.... OR AM I? DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!!
... Yes, I'm kidding. My real answer is Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2. I LOVE those movies and they sincerely do make me feel like a kid again.
^lol about the Saw movies lol
I hope your Ghostbuster's gets picked for comedy round so we can watch and review.
You only need two words to review Ghostbusters....
BEST
MOVIE
EVER!!!!
...Oh wait... that's three words.
....
You only need three words to review Ghostbusters... :-P
^ agreed. ghostbusters is a great classic movie, theeviljester.
some of the old black and white movies of jimmy stewart are great too.
Been watching some Disney favourites lately. Those seem to take myself back to happy kiddy days.
Two Diane Lane movies, Must Love Dogs and Under The Tuscan Sun.
I actually love that movie too. It is SOOOO dumb.... but it is meant to be dumb. It's dumb in a good way. I love movies like that. Sometimes it can be nice to watch something that is just so ridiculously stupid it is funny. It's a movie called "Hot Tub Time Machine" which is about exactly what it would sound like it is about. You certainly shouldn't go in expecting Shakespeare. LOL! But I love that goofy as Hell movie.Quote:
