Love can be tricky at times, but there's nothing better once you find true love.
Couples Retreat
Dangerous Liaisons scarred me emotionally. So did Heartburn.
He's Just Not That Into You.
Serendipity, The Notebook and Love Actually. To me it means that if it is meant to be true love, it will circle back around to you.
Book of Eli was a good movie, Time Travels Wife was SO sad cried like a baby on that one. I heard Dear John was real good
Revolutionary Road with DiCaprio
I was really disappointed with the Time Traveler's Wife after reading the book. They left so much out.

Yeah I should have read the book first. Books are always so much better I think.
Oh my god I hated that movie...it was so depressing...I think the point of the movie was to get the audience to slit their own wrists.Quote:

I don't really watch romantic movies so I am totally drawing a blank...does lethal weapon count...bromance?
I second Revolutionary Road.
Also-Up in the Air
Serendipity was one of my favorites to watch with the better half for a while, Definately Maybe is also a good one. The Notebook, License To Wed, but most recently on my MUST SEE list, is one we finally got to watch and really opened my eyes, is the movie Fireproof.
500 Days of Summer
50 First Dates.
A walk to remember
100 girls
When in Rome
My favorite is "10 things i hate about you"
Secretary,
Interview with a Vampire,
Noél,
Nine(more of a musical tho),
Calamity Jane (more of a musical than a film),
Annie get your gun(also more of a musical than a film),
Vicki Christina Barcelona.
One of my favorites is Lars and the Real Girl -- it's a little eccentric, but it has a great message about love between people in couples, families, communities, friends, etc.
Music & Lyrics!
There's something to learn from every experience, and a romance movie is simply some writers experience with love. Personally, Love Actually would be my recommendation. You get a little piece of all different types of love, and if you pay attention you may just find out where you fit.
Good Luck,
