We would have a lovely evening together. After which if she wanted to be my friend that would be fine. But I'd be pursuing other, more willing game.
f*ck no, I'm not waiting until marriage to have sex. I'll find another girl.
I don't ever want to get married, so you tell me...would it be a problem for me?Quote:

I'm not looking for a first date hook-up, but obviously before biting the bullet would be nice.
Maybe that could be a test... just to know the real intentions of the person. Even if isn't a test, if you're willing to build a solid and true relationship, you must learn that sex is only a small part of the cake.
A very, very important small part.Quote:

Me, I wouldn't buy that car without a test drive. No way.
I wouldn't buy a car with out a test drive either, I also don't want to be a car that has been test driven either...unless A LOT is taken off on the price.
That test-drive/car analogy makes me really angry every time I read it, which is every time this subject is brought up. For some reason, people everywhere seem to think it's hugely apt, but seriously, in what other context can you compare people to cars?
I mean, in that context, shouldn't you get to "test-drive" a kid before you decide you want to keep it?
Most young people don't take relationships serriously at first hence not wanting to wait for marriage and the best part...wanting to get laid! **** waiting for marriage, I don't wanna get married.
I wouldn't buy a car without a test drive either.

No, that's more like building your own custom car from the ground up.
If you're asking whether you should put off having sex with someone until marriage...Quote:

Then how the **** would I know... that's your personal choice. Only you know if you love some one enough or are able to g without sex tat long and willing to wait for someone. That’s totally up to you. If sex is important in your life and you wouldn’t want to live without it for that long, than obviously you wouldn't wait. If you tried it may even go pair shaped because you might be tempted to cheat. All depends how much you love the person and how much you love sex.
If you're asking me whether I would....
Then I'd have to say yes. For me personally I could probably go the rest of my life without having sex and it wouldn't be a problem. But that’s just me. And I know... I'm probably a majority shareholder in the 'No need for sex' business. :D
the whole wait-until-married-to-**** thing scares me.
people just need to ****. it's a need.
I could if I already loved someone and found out they had this opinion, as long as they were still willing to do everything but sex. However, if they mentioned it on the first date? no. especially since they're saying they don't want to have sex anymore, implying that they already have in the past.. seriously who would have sex and then give it up? anyway, I don't like religious types.Quote:

what other stuff?
Why is it so scary to you? No seriously. I'm not making fun or anything, I just don't get this 'need' for sex that just about everyone seems to have except me. :PQuote:

Not all people who aren’t into sex are religious types. Hell I’m practically a hard core atheist and even kinda against marriage, but I don’t seem to feel this ‘hunger for sex’ that most other people have naturally. Sure I’m attracted to people but I don’t feel a need to have sex. If I had a bf that I really loved then I know that I’d probably have to have sex with him to keep him happy unless he was like me. (very very very unlikely.. I know). But seems like most people wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice sex to stay with someone. Fair enough.Quote:

I say, only give up sex if you could really live without it and not end up resenting your partner. Because in the end if you’re a sexual person then it’s going to frustrate the hell out of you, and it will probably end up killing the relationship. Much better to be upfront with them about it if it bothers you so you can both move on before things get serious, and you end up cheating or worse forcing yourself on them when you're drunk or something. That would not be good. :P
pretty much everything that falls under foreplay? Heck if they just replaced intercourse with oral, I think I'd be perfectly content.Quote:

Many people wait till they meet someone they really like- that's not the same as waiting for marriage, though.Quote:

Yea, that is a problem. I would feel cheated and like there is something wrong with me. Like other lovers are good enough to have sex with but I am not.Quote:

I think he means it's hard to comprehend how anyone can wait that long when some people arnt that bothered about sex in general.
No i couldn't but i'm sex mad
Ditto. My sex drive had gotten low again.
Lucky thing mine never gets low
I know what you mean though, some times you get so horny you start to think some Chavs are good looking lol. Not for long though.

nah, just sorta that i don't understand why you'd specifically wait for marriage. i think sex should be a bigger part of a relationship, and if it's missing from the beginning, it's always going to be missing.Quote:

True and if you wait for marriage to have sex then you find out you're not sexually compatable then you have a problem.Quote:

But yeah **** marriage. Most religious people are hyporcrits anyway. (before I get flamed I didn't say all.) I don't understand why non-religious people get married in churches, it's stupid.
i look at marriage as making a vow to someone that you really love them and you want to spend the rest of your life with them. although not completely necessary for all relationships, it does include a little more romance, y'know.Quote:

No relationships last that long anyway.
Marriage is a tradition, I don't follow traditions anymore. We as humans should just drop this useless paper work, if you want to live with someone simply pack your bags and do it. People shouldn't need some kind of licenses to be together and when you love someone the trust should not be an issue.

actually, I've wondered about this, as an atheist. Getting ahead of myself, I know, but what girl hasn't imagined her wedding?
