Say for example, boy meets girl. Girl likes boy. Boy shows signs of disinterest (because either the boy is rubbish at taking hints or is unsure).. How long would the girl wait? (and vice versa)
I know the answer may be different for each person, as from individual life experiences they would take different actions.. But from an emotional point of view.. if someone is attracted to another do the feelings fade away soon or stay for as long as they are still single?
So for example.
Are you the boy or girl?
he has his gender listed on his details.
My friend waited a year and a half for a girl. Another liked a girl for a day.
Why would anyone wait for someone who doesn't want them? What a waste of time...
some people like to waste their time.

Thanks for the replies.
Personally, I've waited up to a year for a girl who I liked a lot.
But in general was wondering how long a girl would typically wait, especially if the guy seemed unsure.
I would wait as long as it was convenient for me, but I would be assessing other possibilities at the same time. Girls can multitask, you know.
