This amazing Girl!

Hi Everyone,

I saw this girl in a birthday party from 2 weeks and since then I cannot stop thinking about her.
The problem is that she lives in another town (1 hour away from me).
And she only comes to visit my friend every couple of months, so my only way to reach her is through email,Facebook....etc
In the party I couldn't speak to her because there was that guy who kept sticking to her all the time.(I knew later that he tried to be her bf and she refused although they were friends since school!!)
I asked my friend after the party and he told me that what he can do is only, he can invite me when she comes to visit him next time.
This might happen after a year I don't really know!!!
So the question is?
Should I try to contact her via internet? or just forget her?(Although I may fail to forget her easily).
If I send her a mail or message, what should I say?!

I am a kind of guy who studies a lot.
Not handsome but not at all ugly.
I dress in a good way and clean.
I am definitely a shy person.

Info about her: (27)
She is beautiful (if not very beautiful)
She is not shy (at least that what I noticed during the party)

I really appreciate your replies as I am confused and spend a lot of time thinking about that.

unless you can't handle the 1 hour distance, I see no reason not to go for it.

as for the internet vs real life communication.. I'd say.. it depends what you prefer. I personally like communicating online because then you'll get to know her a bit before either of you has to travel, and if you do want to meet you might have a conversation or in-jokes to pick up on. However, if it is not your element and you'd prefer the chemistry of real life, then you're better off picking what you're comfy with :)

You're 27 freakin' years old and 60 miles is a problem? One hour???Ridiculous! Gas prices here are a little over $1.50 a gallon. So seeing her costs what ... $9????

Why not give us your real concern about pursuing this girl, we can't help much if you hide the ball.

I have the balls to do whatever it takes. but what exactly should be done?!!
should I walk to the place she works and say Hi (Not a good idea!)
I need ideas, on how to start the conversation/email in a good way and not to be too pushy!!

Goldi, why is it a bad idea to say hi to her where she works? It just feels like something is missing here, your nervousness and worry seems quiet unjustified.

Thanks for all replies.
I don't know where she works, I know her address, can I wait for her there (like movies!!)
I think I will send her an email ask her for anything, and see how she is going to respond.

Wow you should definitely contact her and stay in touch with her! Don't be too pushy or you'll scare her away. Be a little mysterious and not obviously flirty. Drop her little hints that you think she is the most amazing woman ever and she'll be yours soon :)

I wish I had never even existed :-(

I sent to her best friend (she is my friend's gf), saying that I like her friend (the amazing girl!) from the party and I wish if I can know her better by doing something together and told her if she thinks this girl is my type or not.
But she didn't answer till now, Is what I did WRONG?!
In the end I didn't have the email of the girl, so the only way to be connected is through her best friend.
Also I didn't want her to tell her friend that I like her, I just wanted to get any sort of communication email,mobile...etc
Now, she didn't answer for 2 days!! What could it be?
I feel really sad and embarresed and I wish I had never even existed. :upset:
Why didn't she answer my email????????!!

RELAX!

One time a guy gave me his website address and I stuffed it in my wallet and forgot about it. When I dug it out like a month later and emailed him, we ended out going out a few times and it was great- he moved away though, and believe me I was kicking myself for not remembering earlier.

my point is it's only 2 days. who knows what real life stuff she's got going on. Doesn't mean she doesn't want to.

I requested her email from her best friend.
But her best friend didn't answer for 2 days now!!
Why didn't she answer?? I am very worried!

Yes, the girl saw me at the birthday party.

Do you know anything about this girl beyond what she looks like? I've seen lots of guys I like the looks of, but they usually don't get my interest until they open their mouth and say something relatively interesting.

Yes, i know, she doesn't have a bf, she is senstive, i know her job.
I know from the party, she is very senstive caring and friendly person.

What I'm asking you is HOW you know these things about her if you haven't even talked to her?

Maybe her friend can tell you what she does for a living and whether or not she has a boyfriend. However, you don't know her true nature unless you've actually spoken and spent some time together.

Hahaha blue ... yeah, i think the cart is a mile ahead of the horse here. You have a mutual friend ... why not ask him to arrange an introduction? Something like "Hey, there's someone I'd like you to meet, I think you'll like him."
