I just want to know, Mish and Charlie, are you safe there?
I've heard about this, my aussie friend was talking to me about it this morning. I pray there aren't any casualties and it'll just turn out to be a big huge wimpy storm.
Melbourne and Sydney =/= Northeast.
I don't know where you are exactly, you think that I remember where does every member on LF live exactly? If you want I can erase my concerns about you, no problemo amigo ;)
I'm safe, but we were in Cairns less than a month ago, lucky escape!

Just two weeks ago, and you made the very first response to that thread-
But two weeks is such a long time ago, we shouldn't expect anyone to remember for that long, be able to read the top right 'location' tab or read more than just single headlines for news. Thinking is such hard work after all.Quote:

I said it ,because he said he's in other part of Australia and that he's safe . Don't remember where, but he said it somewhere. Seriously I think ( I think I know ) he lives in Sydney ,but then I also think that Charlie lives in Sydney... And about you, I just knew that you live in Australia but where you live exactly, I have no freaking idea. Besides the cyclone is so big , it looks like half of the Australia so I just wanted to be sure that all of you are safe. So simple. But well, you don't want me to be worried about you so go to hell hehe. I wanted to be nice, you screw it so go to hell hehe :)
great, no thread goes without putting someone down.
I always whinge about being from the UK. But one thing we should be thankful for, is that we don't experience the like of hurricanes, cyclones and earthquakes.
Hope you are all staying safe over there :)
Yeah you just have rain in the spring, rain in the summer, rain in the fall and rain in the winter :P Ok last two years you had some snow in the winter but besides I'm right :D When a teacher asks kids to paint a house with grass, trees and the sun , kids are like "wtf is sun?" ,teacher " Don't ask me, do you think I know everything you little asshole? " :D
LOLS, it's not quite that bad ... We had a bad winter this year and lots of snow. But we can't grumble and because we don't usually get snow.
Sometimes we have nice weather, but rarely :( Last year we had a few weeks where it was nice and hot.
It's usually just cold, even if the sun is out :( We havn't had much rain lately, but it was raining tonight where I am and quite heavily.
Still...I'd rather have shitty weather than have to be told there is a massive cyclone on the way. I wouldn't have a clue where to go and hide!!...Those things can blow homes apart!!...so pointless to sit in the house
It's 'panic stations' over here and if we get 2 inches of snow....god knows what they will all do and if we had a hurricane or cyclone.
Repeat.

And this is the only reason why I even took the time to respond in the first place - your assumption that I would even give half a shit (two shits would be excessive) about losing the 'privilege' of your internet concerns was just hilarious.Quote:

Oh no, what will I do now, Petit doesn't care for me anymore? I need a bucket of ice-cream and a sob-movie to be able to move on with my life... :emot95:

Anyways, as I no longer expect a response relevant to the subject matter (geography) , let's all hold hands and jump into The Pool of Average Forum Name-calling. Ready? Jump!
Apparently he's 14.Quote:

it's kinda sad to be considered a cougar at a such a tender age of 33...
^^And you look much younger than 33 Sonrisa and judging from that pic I saw. I thought about 25.
I'd say cougars were women in the 40's personally....but if hes only 14, a 20 year old will be a cougar to him :)
Cougar
(see also hunt, prowl, corner, pounce). Noun. A 35+ year old female who is on the "hunt" for a much younger, energetic, willing-to-do-anything male. The cougar can frequently be seen in a padded bra, cleavage exposed, propped up against a swanky bar in San Francisco (or other cities)waiting, watching, calculating; gearing up to sink her claws into an innocent young and strapping buck who happens to cross her path. "Man is cougar's number one prey"
i got 2 more years to go
It's funny how you had to pick and choose from the definitions to find the one that you wouldn't be included in.
Quote:
3. Cougar
An attractive woman in her 30's or 40's who is on the hunt once again.
Quote:
1. Cougar
An older woman who frequents clubs in order to score with a much younger man.
Quote:
4. Cougar
A Cougar is a female, usually between thirty and fifty years-old, who enjoys the sexual company of younger men.
[Edit] But, as I already mentioned, let's all hold hands and jump into The Pool of Average Forum Name-calling. Again :P
I would rather say that cougar is 40< . 30yo are freaking young women .
Exactly, it's all relative and highly subjective. 30 is where I draw the line at the moment, hence I consider everyone above it as cougars.
I would rather call a 30yo woman .which is dating a 20> guy a pedophile, than a cougar ,for example.... Cougars date younger guys ,that's true, but they date guys that are adults already as well...
So all women above 30 chase younger men??Quote:

You lot should be so lucky!
I think he just gave a pretty good indicator of how old he is. :DQuote:

Doesn't the word "cougar" imply the woman is the hunter? It's not simply an age, nor even a woman who is paired up with someone younger. I think she had to be the aggressor to be labeled this way.
