My x-ray came back, and it said that my growth plates have fused, so I won't grow anymore. I'm thinking about getting bone surgery to make myself taller.

... Yes ... Then maybe you'l stop talking about it.
I guess I won't grow anymore.
GOSH. STOP COMPLAINING. How do you think LEGAL midgets feel?
Well, I deserve a reasonably attractive girlfriend, and I won't get that with one that looks like a 14 year old.
All the ATTRACTIVE girls (5'4-5'6) are taller than me.
That's right.
I'm 25, look nothing like a 14 year old, and am only 5'2".
I feel so unmanly.
No one "deserves" anything, you have to earn everything you get. You want a hottie, you go out and you get one.Quote:

You really shouldn't worry about your height mate. It really doesn't matter at all. You don't need to be tall, its what's on the inside that counts.
how old are u? And sweetie u dont hav to go thru an xtremly dangerous and morbid procedure. U wil find sm1 who wud lov u the way u r
Why don't you spend a moment thinking about people who have REAL problems in life: A missing child - not enough food - death of a loved one - inability to access health care.
If lack of stature is the only problem you have, then think yourself lucky.
hell no, don't do that. wear lifts or something, spike your hair, anything over surgery to gain more height if it bugs you.
So, in your opinion, to be tall is more important than your health?
I think bone surgery will surely be harmful to our health.
Just for saying that repetitive times, you don't deserve any girl at all.Quote:

Before meeting my ex bf, I went on a date with a 5'3-5'4 guy (I'm 5'7) and honestly, I don't care about the height. We just didn't connect. Even if he were 6 ft, I still wouldn't be interested. When I'm not interested it means there is no chemistry and I just don't feel nothing for the guy, not his height.
And my ex bf was 5'7 1/2 and if he has been your height, our relationship would have lasted as much as it lasted....same result.
Many have to deal with other worst things in life than not growing pass your early 20's. Sept 11 is approaching and I can imagine how people who lost their loved ones on that horrible day must still be feeling now.
If it bothers you that much, you should go get it.
And then the OP will probably start a relationship with a lie and make up stories about how he got to that height.Quote:

It doesn't change the core of who he is. It is like someone getting a dental implant or transplant for his bald head. If he is honest with the girl he is dating about it at the beginning of the relationship, there is nothing wrong with it.Quote:

Being honest is especially important if she wants kids.
I don't think that men ask women with rubber tits how they got to be that big? lol... point is, they're just glad they are.Quote:

They probably don't need to even ask because it's so obvious. If she were to lie about that, he can easily figure it out but might not say anything as it's rubber tits are becoming common (unlike height surgery).Quote:

It's when you start off a relationship with a lie that's bad. If he starts making a big deal about his surgery and lying to the girl about it, then he isn't being true to himself. The height surgery is less obvious to notice than a girl's rubber tits.
IMO, I think people should be happy with themselves and what they got; no on with their life without any surgeries.
everytime one of us wears a pushup bra on a date we're starting out on a lie. ;)
