Do you go for specifc brand of 'mouse' for your computer/laptop?

As i do game once a while, i go for razor brand... it is make for gaming.
Better dpi as well . :)
Right now I'm a Logitech man, myself. I have a Logitech G6 that fits my hand like a glove. Great dpi--extremely fast. I whip my cursor around like a crackhead. Slightest twitch sends the cursor from one end of the screen to the next. Hell, nobody can handle my computer but me. If the ultra-fast mouse doesn't get 'em, the blank keyboard does.
Since I have laptop, I don't use mouse. Now when I do my hand hurts and I get pissed :) It's much better to use one finger instead of whole hand :)
That's not what she said.Quote:

I just picked up an average-looking wireless laser mouse by microsoft, mainly use it for 3d modelling and its just so much more convenient than mousepads.
Just had it cordless because its helluva annoying if the cord snags or pulling at it disrupts precise movements.
Gribble, where did you get a blank keyboard? Or is that just normal wear and tear?
I use logitech too. I wish I had the money for a brand spankin' new mouse.
Cheap keyboard that I've had forever. Almost all the major keys are blank. I'd like to buy a new keyboard with no markings, but the only one I can find is called Das Keyboard and sells for $130. Bit more than I'm willing to spend...
i have a logitech mouse, but luckily i have a friend that is all into computers. he hooks it up for me.

I use to be into the whole gaming scene. I played Battlefield 1942, COD, Red Alert, etc, etc.
I never really found myself leaning towards a particular brand of mouse. You can pay an outrageous amount for a mouse, but in the end, there's someone out there who will smack you around using a $5 bargain bin one. There is a certain profile of mouse that I like, and I prefer cordless.
I use a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0 and a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard. I am pretty particular about keyboards, I have used the Eclipse II and Logitech G35 almost exclusively.
I have a Logitech G5, I like the grip and weight, not to mention high DPI and extra buttons. For mice, it can't be too weird, and it needs to be corded, I don't like wireless stuff and batteries.
Same with keyboards, although they need to be ergonomic.
I'd preferably like a blank keyboard because I switch between languages all the time. Russian to English is probably the strangest change.Quote:

You see those laser keyboards? I wish I had the money for that kind of thing.
How about that Windows 7? Anyone here got it? is it any good?
