Feel better, not look better

My appearance used to be very sad, but that didn't matter as much I felt.
I got overweight because of depression, and not believing in myself and closing myself to others.

This year I started exercising to feel better and just be proud of what I can accomplish.
I set a goal of reaching my previous weight and did that in 4-5 months time.
I also got into a relationship by accident, and wanted to experience it, but I knew it might not last, even though I thought it would.
I've turned down countless opportunities to date someone, because I am not in a point in my life where I want to deal with a relationship as it wont change the person that I am, I have to do that myself, and it would just be a distraction.
Many people on this forum think that once his love is gone, that their life is over.
Take that time to look over yourself and just see what went wrong and use the experiences to improve yourself, so it might not happen again.
P.S. I hope this helps some people look into what really is important.
Women need to stop saying that what is inside that counts, when they first judge a person on the way he looks.

I think your a decent looking person, and don't blame your height on your failure,
as it's mainly your attitude towards life that is making you get the results that you get.

It's about confidence (not being an asshole), but knowing that this is the type of person
that you are, and you're the only one that can make improvements.

i get from exercising, than the appearance that it gives me.

I'm back to being the person that i was 4 years ago, and can show my personality with confidence.

I do have a job, but it isn't something i could see myself doing for multiple decades,
but there's not enough variety to keep me interested, so having a female in my life,
would be a bonus, but not a requirement to make me happy, but someone that i
can share both hobbies and adventures.
