There was a diver from a different school at a diving competition a few weeks ago and he was from Russia. We started talking, I had asked him to call me out for my double. Somehow we started talking and I asked him to say something in Russian, it was so friggen awesome!
yeah, let's all criticise how my accent sounds....
damn this thread is moving too fast for my poor GPRS connection..
I agree spanish is beautiful. and italian. Russian is very harsh sounding, but very cool. btw, gealic sounds a lot like klingon (sp?) from startrek :P
Your spelling is really good though, Lovesick. words a bit jumbled up, but sehr gut, sehr gut :)

Yeah, I've always had trouble with putting words in the right order. I guess it's just where I translate something in english straight to German, maybe this won't be a problem in the future.
Haha. I love the Irish accent.Quote:

ah, yeah, the grammar structure isn't quite the same. I've laughed myself crooked looking at online translations. Learning german as a child means I didn't have to deal with learning all the grammar changes.. though in english I tend to make a few errors typical of german english speakers, mostly you'd only notice if you heard me talk though.
And isn't it crazy how there are three genders for all objects and they make totally no sense? that would kill me if it didn't come naturally to me. at least in spanish you can be relatively sure it's feminine if it ends with a and masculine if it ends with o.
Mmmm.... French > German, because it makes the chicks at my school beg for me.
I hate it when people ask me to speak in German. Then when I do they ask me to say something else. . .then they ask what ____ is in German. . . .bleh. :tough:
Then stop.Quote:

I have tried before, but they keep bothering me. They never stop! It's so annoying I feel like pulling my hair out.
Do it. Tear clumps of your hair out and unleash a withering howl of agony as you drop to your knees. See if that doesn't get them to stop.
Hahaha, I'm going to do that!
At least someone here sees the genius behind my advice!
