my feeling scare me! Please help

I am crazy about this male friend and ive never been scared of my feelings toward someone before! Im scared cos i would kill myself LITERALY if sumthing happened to him more then a family member which is WRONG!i wuld rather die then have to face sumthing bad happen to him! What am i going threw??? all i think about is what if sumthing terrible happens to him! eg. a car crash! i feel sick thinking about it

ive felt this for 3 years but it keeps getting worse! Sum1 please help me i cant go on like this im freaking out ! :(!

What advice can i take??? Thnx

I should add that my family disaproves of him for religious reasons cos they are very religious. Its hard to cope!

Go to a psychologist

It's good to be scared, life can be cruel when you least expect it to be. Basically, if you lost a parent your connection with him would keep you going but if you lost him you would live on in darkness? If yes, that's rare. Tell him how you feel.

What's stopping you from telling him how you feel?

For one im scared he will think im clingy! I dont know how to tell him. What if he declines me? He has told me 2 years ago that he loves me and always will love me! I dont know if his feelings have chnged for the worst, he is a close friend. Ive always felt soulmate weird around him. Yesterday we went out to a movie and his arm brushed against mine and i nearly died.
