My 1-year anniversary with my girlfriend is coming up, and I was wondering if anyone thinks it might be too much to buy her a thin gold band (not expensive, under $100). If it makes a difference, we are still both in high school.

Hey, you! Haven't seen you in forever!
And to answer your question, if it's less than $100, if she means the world to you, and if you think she'll appreciate it without thinking you're a cheap ****, then it is fine.
Else? No.
Well if it isn't Moeburn.
Guess things have been well as we haven't seen ya around.
:awe:
holy crap, I didn't expect anybody to remember me. Sorry for not being a regular poster, but yeah, things have been going great for the past year or so :D
Well, there's a lot of the old poster still around, and your icon is easily recognizable. Good to hear things are goin' so well. But yeah, if it's a cheap ring, price-wise that is...and she knows this. I say go for it. What it represents will mean more than what it actually is.
That's what I figure anyway.
What year in high school exactly?
And if you have the money to spare, sure why the hell not.
Be careful with a gold band. Gold bands say "wedding ring" to me.
Hmm...Vash has a good point...how about necklace?
Necklaces are better...
Pwnt. Necklace ftw.
How about a gold ring...on a necklace??
That's a promise ring, Moeburn. Get her a bracelet. You're gonna freak her out, and even if you don't, her mom is going to have a coronary.
Do people still give promise rings? I had forgotten all about those...
A promise ring?
Eh?
What was that some kind of fad?
It's a "We'll get married when we're old enough to sign the papers" thing. Insane.
