I have been going through a career change and shut down a company that provided for us both. Needless to say I have been distracted and have neglected her.
How can I show her that that is not how it will be forever and remove her doubts?

You both missed out on the best years of your life that should have been spent being single, being with other people, and have different experiences. She's just catching up on what she's been missing out on, and you should too. There's a reason why you were distracted and neglected her. There was nothing left to make it a relationship.
