What does he avoid me?

I had known J during work for a while but we have never met up face-to-face. For the past 1 mth, we chatted over phone, emails n sms. We had seen each other on FB until we met up recently.. Everything was gd n we were like soul mates. We chatted everything frm work to family to friends to colleagues. It was after our met-up which changed everything. He avoided me big time.. Neither did he pick up my calls nor reply to my sms.. We met up on sat n this happened the next day n mon. However, he msn-ed me on tues nite telling me tht he was drunk n told me to wait for him while he went out to get more liquor. Unfortunately, he kept me waiting n that was the last time i spoken to him despite me calling him or texting him the next day.

I did not tell him how i feel, so we r just like friends. I don't know what had happended n i do not know y we ended up like this. Can someone tell me?

I dont really know, but it is a possibility he may not be attracted to you. My reason for saying this is because you said he started avoiding you after meeting you in person.

If he does not have the decency to even explain himself for just avoiding you like that then I dont see the worth in this guy. Plenty worthy and respectable fish in the sea.

I agree with Nisha. When interest disappears immediately after the first meeting in-person it almost always is because there is no physical attraction. When you were with him, did he seem to avoid eye contact?

I'm going to have to agree with the above.

If you guys were talking constantly and then you met and he's bailing out.. there's a good chance he just isn't attracted to you in that way after meeting you.

1. He isn't attracted; or
2. He found someone else in the meantime and you are his plan B.

Cut your losses and move on.
